Marking Chof Av and the yahrzeit of Tzivos Hashem soldier Sholom Ber Markel, dozens of children gathered at Lubavitch Center of Pittsburgh for a spirited Tzivos Hashem rally featuring Torah Pesukim, a powerful video of the Rebbe, heartfelt Tehillim, enthusiastic singing, and a special memento Brocho Acharona card sponsored by the Markel family.

Dozens of children gathered at Lubavitch Center of Pittsburgh for a spirited Tzivos Hashem rally, marking Chof Av, the yahrzeit of the Rebbe’s father, Harav Levi Yitzchok Schneerson, and the 2nd yahrzeit of Tzivos Hashem soldier Sholom Ber Markel A”H.

The program included the traditional Pesukim, a powerful video of the Rebbe, heartfelt Tehillim, and enthusiastic singing. The children also gave tzedaka, strengthening their connection to the Rebbe’s directives.

Each child was presented with a special memento — a Brocho Acharona card — sponsored by the Markel family in memory of Sholom Ber A”H. A special presentation was given by Sholom Ber’s mother yblcht”a Mrs. Goldie Markel.

The rally was led by their cousin, Rabbi Mendel Markel and Rabbi Chaim Itkin, Shluchim at Lubavitch Center of Pittsburgh, who inspired the children with nigunim and words of encouragement. The event ended with a grand raffle for the children who came.

The event brought together children and families in a true spirit of achdus and chizuk, continuing the legacy of dedication to Torah, Tefillah, and Gemilus Chassadim.
