TCSA – Travel Camp South Africa – has just wrapped up its 9th summer, once again living up to its reputation as “a summer of a lifetime.” Directed by Rabbi Pini and Rochie Pink, the camp took girls on an unforgettable journey through the Garden Route, Cape Town, Johannesburg, and Kruger National Park.
The program combined breathtaking adventure with meaningful inspiration. Campers enjoyed an incredible variety of activities, including zip lining, sandboarding, surfing, white-water rafting, ATV riding, horse riding, paddle boarding, and tree-top climbing. They also explored some of South Africa’s most famous landmarks and cultural sites, such as Lion’s Head, Robberg Hike, Chapman’s Peak, Boulders Beach, Soweto Township, and the vibrant African markets. A highlight was the days spent on safari in Kruger National Park, where campers came face-to-face with South Africa’s magnificent wildlife.
Beyond the fun and adventure, the girls were deeply inspired by talks and farbrengens with Mrs. Zessy Deren, Mrs. Temmi Hadar, Mrs. Leah Lipskar, Rabbi Eitan Ash, and Rabbi and Mrs. Pink. These uplifting sessions gave depth to the trip, leaving the campers with powerful lessons and memories to take home.
A special thank you goes to the dedicated staff team: Chayale Chaikin, Rosie Grossbaum, Hadassah Bogomilsky, and Shaina Zalmanov, for their devotion, energy, and care throughout the month. Their efforts ensured that every camper felt supported, inspired, and part of something special.
As TCSA 5785 (2025) comes to a close, it marks another successful summer of growth, fun, and friendship, and sets the stage for an even greater year ahead.
