Yeshivas Lubavitch Toronto together with Cheder Chabad completed its third month of Mishmar, awarding participants with a special reward.
The Mishmar program, a learning session from 7-8 pm every Thursday night, brings together Cheder children with Zal bochurim to learn a sichah of the Rebbe and enjoy a fun and engaging program, all while giving the boys an authentic and lively feeling of life in Yeshiva.
The program, which has been on pause for the past few years due to lockdowns, was relaunched this year by the bochurim and ran successfully since the month of cheshvan, with boys walking away week after week with glowing smiles, a dvar Torah for the shabbos table, and hands filled with prizes.
In recognition of their dedication and commitment, the boys and bochurim who attended four consecutive weeks were awarded the well-acclaimed “Selections from Likkutei Sichos – Vayikra” by Sichos in English. This prize is a testament to the hard work put in by the participants and a motivation for continued learning and growth.
The success of the Mishmar program would not have been possible without the generosity and support of Roman and Suzan Goldstein, who sponsored the initiative.
“We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to the board at SIE for their support,” organizers said.
