Toronto Women United for Halacha Review Series

Despite snowstorms and frigid temperatures, Toronto women gathered for a four-week halacha review series, graciously hosted in the homes of dedicated Nshei Chabad women. 38 participants were gifted the newly released Nusach Ari Women’s Siddur.

This winter, Toronto’s Chabad community once again demonstrated its deep commitment to the mitzvah of Taharas Hamishpacha through a powerful and inspiring four-week review series for women. The series is organized annually in accordance with the Rebbe’s directive to regularly review the halachos of Taharas Hamishpacha.

Despite snowstorms and frigid temperatures, the Shiurim were exceptionally well attended, reflecting the importance placed on reviewing the halachos of this foundational mitzvah.

The Shiurim were dedicated li’ilui nishmas Mrs. Frumie Shubov a”h, whose lifelong dedication to the Mikvah and to Taharas Hamishpacha left a profound impact on the community. She is deeply missed.

The series was led by top-notch Kallah teachers, all professionally trained through Mikvah.org. With clarity, warmth, and sensitivity, the teachers guided participants through a comprehensive review of the halachos of Taharas Hamishpacha. The series concluded with an engaging and informative question-and-answer session, allowing women to clarify practical details and further deepen their understanding in a comfortable and supportive environment. Participants described the classes as clear, inspiring, and empowering.

Each Shiur was graciously hosted in the homes of dedicated Nshei Chabad women. Every host poured her heart and soul into creating a beautiful and welcoming atmosphere, complete with thoughtfully prepared décor and generous food spreads, giving proper honor to this special mitzvah.

To encourage consistency and commitment, participants who attended at least three out of the four Shiurim were gifted the newly released Nusach Ari Women’s Siddur. Baruch Hashem, 38 women earned this meaningful gift.

The organizers extend heartfelt thanks to all the women who took part, along with deep appreciation to the teachers and hosts who made the series such a success.

May this continued commitment to reviewing the halachos of Taharas Hamishpacha bring abundant brachos to the participants, their families, and the entire community.
