The Cheder Chabad Toronto Choir has released a new song entitled, “The Dream.” The song, adapted from Avraham Fried’s ‘Nisht Gedaiget‘, is sung in Yiddish and English, and tell of a dream of Hakhel with the Beis Hamikdash and how to make that dream a reality.

I had a dream, not long ago
The Beis Hamikdash Hashlishi, Yerushalayim, our home,
Kohanim blowing their golden trumpets
The Levi’im singing, triumphant
Moshe Rabbeinu and the Ovos
Old and young, men, women and children
For hakhel they gathered, a scene, just so brilliant
And then I saw, an incredible sight
His face was shining with a getliche light
Standing on the stage
Here to celebrate
It was the Melech Hamoshiach, eyes ablaze,
The entire nation listened in wonder
Words of Torah, echoed like thunder
And then suddenly, I was wide awake.
Oy!
Nisht Gedayget, Yidden
Soon this dream will be reality
Do another Mitzva!
Build the Beis Hamikdosh Hashlishi
So Gather your friends
To serve Hashem
Sing and dance, celebrate!
