Torah’s Approach to Prison Vs. the American Approach

Watch: At a virtual Siyum of the Rambam’s Sefer Nezikin, Rabbi Yossi Bryski, Director of Alternative Sentencing at the Aleph Institute, presented the Rebbe’s approach to prison and its contrast to the American approach.

On Shabbos, Chassidim the world over completed the study of Sefer Nezikin, the eleventh book of the Rambam.

A virtual Siyum was once again organized by rambam.today, featuring Rabbis Yossi Bryski, the Director of Alternative Sentencing for the Aleph Institute, advancing criminal justice reform through collaboration with legal, academic, and field experts.

Rabbi Bryski presented the Torah’s approach to prison and incarceration as detailed in the Rebbe’s Sichos.

The program was hosted by the popular Rabbi Raleigh Resnick of the Tri-Valley, CA, and concluded with a trivia challenging the viewers to their mastery of Sefer Nezikin.
