Tonight: Rosh Chodesh Kislev Farbrengen in 770

A farbrengen will be held tonight in 770 to mark the day the Rebbe returned home in 5738 after recovering from a severe heart attack on Shemini Atzeres five weeks earlier.

A farbrengen will be held on Monday night in 770 to mark the ‘chassidishe yom tov’ of Rosh Chodesh Kislev.

On this ocaasion every year, chassidim hold a seudas hoda’a, marking the day the Rebbe returned home in 5738 after recovering from a severe heart attack on Shemini Atzeres five weeks earlier.

The farbrengen in 770 tonight will continue in that tradition, thanking Hashem for bringing the Rebbe back to health in 5738, which led to the upcoming years with an outpouring of sichos, ma’marim, and hundreds of hours spent that the Rebbe spent with the chassidim.

The farbrengen will be held Monday night, the eve of Rosh Chodesh Kislev, November 16th at 9:30 PM in the large shul in 770 Eastern Parkway. Following the official program, smaller farbrengen will begin, continuing throughout the night.

This is not everything rosh chodesh kislev is about lianiyus dayti.
Rosh chodesh kislev is about a mitzius that the rebbe is not limited by teva. To say that rosh chodesh kislev means 39 volumes of likutei sichos instead of 15 and 6 volumes of milukat instead of 1 is minimizing the meaning of rosh chodesh kislev after gimmel tamuz. Before gimmel tamuz rosh chodesh kislev was about having a rebbe now because teva cannot take away the rebbe. The meaning has not changed.
