In honor of Hey Teves, a special program will highlight the remarkable history of printing Tanya across the world.

The Hey Teves 5786 Experience, scheduled to take place at Heichal Hallimud across the street from 770, will offer participants a rare opportunity to see, learn, and connect with the journey of the Alter Rebbe’s sefer as it traveled from place to place and generation to generation.

The program will feature a fascinating presentation by Rabbi Shmuel Butler, who will share the story of Tanya printings around the globe. Rabbi Butler will guide attendees through how Tanya was printed under vastly different conditions and circumstances, each edition carrying its own story and significance.

Adding a powerful visual dimension to the evening will be a special exhibit featuring the history of over 100 different Tanya printings from around the world. Participants will see firsthand the diversity of editions, styles, and locations, underscoring how the teachings of Chassidus reached Jews in every corner of the world.

The program will also include a hands-on educational segment on seforim bookbinding, presented by Yisroel Rubinson of Y Binding. Learn about the craft and process behind binding seforim.

The program will take place tonight, Wednesday, 5 Teves 5786, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Heichal Hallimud, 777 Eastern Parkway (basement). The bookbinding presentation will take place from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.
