Thornhill Mesivta is Growing & Expanding

The Thornhill Mesivta open its doors in 2015 with a dream to create a place where bochurim can be immersed in Torah and Chassidus with love, care and respect. On Yud Tes Kislev, the Mesivta is hosting a Growth & Expansion Fundraising Drive to help fund the expansion plans.

The Thornhill Mesivta open its doors in 2015 with a dream. A Mesivta for bochurim where they could be immersed in Limud HaTorah and Chassidus with love, care and respect.

B”H, that message has resonated, and today the Mesivta is home to almost 50 bochurim and Shluchim.

“We are bursting at the seams, and must expand the current facility to better accommodate our talmidim and to allow for an additional 20-25 bochurim for the upcoming registration season תשפ”ג-פ”ד,” said Rabbi Baruch Zaltzman, Dean.

WE MUST EXPAND NOW.

“With tremendous gratitude to HaKodosh Boruch Hu, after many months of intense efforts and political pull, with the Rebbe’s many brachos, on Yud Daled Kislev, the Mesivta’s brand new and double size Beis Medrash was approved by the city’s Committee of Adjustment. The modular building that’s been sitting on the lot since June, waiting for the Kol Tefila and Kol Torah to reverberate in it, can finally be transported to the yeshiva,” the Hanhalla said.

The talmidim are ecstatic about this development and are waiting with “open arms” to greet the NEW addition.

On Yud Tes and Chof Kislev, for 36 hours, the Mesivta is hosting a Growth & Expansion Fundraising Drive to help fund the expansion plans.
