Texas Shluchim Families Gather in Houston For Regional Kinus

Shluchim families from across Texas came together to Houston this Sunday for two days of inspiring farbrengens, meaningful teen workshops, and exciting programs for the kids.

Rabbi Shimon and Chiena Lazaroff and Rabbi Dovid and Elisa Goldstein of Houston, Texas invited the Shluchim from all across the state for a two day program filled with delicious food, inspiring farbrengens, meaningful teen workshops, and exciting programs for the kids.

The program began on Sunday in the early evening with a grand dinner for all the families, followed by a group photo. The group then separated into a farbrengen for the teen girls with Mrs. Sarah Raskin from Montreal, and the teen boys with Rabbi Mendel Raskin from Montreal.

Following the teen farbrengens, the women joined with Mrs. Raskin for a farbrengen of their own, while the children had an exciting program with a rally, a drum circle, a show by an illusionist, bouncy houses, sports, and a painting activity.

The program concluded the following morning after davening and Chassidus, followed by a beautiful family brunch. The Shluchim left energized and rejuvenated, ready to start a new year of doing the Rebbe’s holy work in the places they were assigned.
