Texas Congressmen Michael McCaul and Will Hurd, along with numerous other government officials, visited the Rabbinical College of America located in Morrsitown, NJ, to discuss antisemitism and security issues.
The officials sat for a round table discussion with Rabbi Moshe Herson, Dean of the Rabbinical College. The conversations concentrated on combating the recent increase in antisemitism, as well has the security grants religious institutions can apply for.
Congressman McCaul, who led the House Homeland Security Committee for six years, called the meeting “very productive.” Congressman Hurd said that they are hoping to apply the best practices of the Rabbinical College to other communities around the US.
