Terror Attack in Yerushalayim Shul Leaves Several Dead

Seven people were killed when a terrorist opened fire in a Shul in Neve Yaakov, Yerushalayim, Friday night, and several others were injured.

Seven people were shot and killed and at least another three wounded in a terror shooting attack at a shul in the Neve Yaakov neighborhood of Yerushalayim on Friday night.

Police say the terrorist arrived by car at a building used as a shul, and opened fire on the congregants.

Officers called to the scene located and shot the gunman, police said. A handgun apparently used in the attack was seized.

The Magen David Adom ambulance service said its medics declared five victims dead at the scene.

Another three victims — a woman in her 70s listed in critical condition, a 20-year-old man in serious condition, and a 14-year-old boy in moderate-serious condition — were taken to the Hadassah Mount Scopus hospital.

The terrorist was neutralized.
