Hundreds of students of Oholei Menachem in Tel Aviv, gathered for a special assembly in honor of Chai Elul, birthday of the Alter Rebbe and Baal Shem Tov.

Rabbi Yosef Shmuel Gerlitzky, shliach to Tel Aviv, thrilled the students with stories of the Baal Shem Tov, and left them with a powerful message for being a chossid today.

The students then participated in a unique shofar workshop, in which students from all grades had a chance to make their own Shofar. Starting with cutting the end of the moose horn with a manual sawmill for punching and grinding the shofar from the outside.
