Today 11:00-11:15 AM EST: An innovative system, which allows tefilos to be broadcast discreetly at holy places, will be set up on Friday for thousands to speak their tefilos at the Ohel on Lag B’omer.
Don’t you wish you could be at the Ohel this Lag B’Omer and daven for all that you need?
On special occasions, like Lag Ba’omer, we try to visit the Ohel to daven for the things that we need. But what if you can’t make it? You can daven at home, but it’s not the same as having spoken your tefilos at the Ohel in person.
This Lag Ba’omer, however, that will change. We will now be able to bring the Ohel to our homes–no matter where in the world we might be!
An innovative technology, called Precati™, allows us to virtually visit the Ohel from anywhere in the world. Besides allowing thousands to log in at once and see the Ohel live, the program allows users to speak their tefilos which is then broadcast at the Ohel. The voice is played in a whisper and mixed with all the other voices so that no one present could make out any words.
On Friday, Lag B’Omer, from 11:00-11:15 AM EST, Precati’s two way audio-video technology will transport you to the Ohel from your home. The virtual visitation experience can be accessed on a cell phone, tablet or computer, and will let your words be heard – discreetly – when speaking directly to the Rebbe!
For fifteen minutes, you can take advantage of this auspicious day by saying Tehillim, reading a maamar, writing a pan, or speaking from your heart.
While of course our tefilos are heard no matter where we say them, yet the kavanah that comes along with seeing and speaking at the Rebbe’s Ohel–is unmatched.
