Tanya Companion takes the reader through each days’ Tanya portion – the entire Tanya, Likkutei Amarim through Kuntres Acharon – in easily understandable English, while preserving the Chassidus terminology in its original Lashon HaKodesh.
Part of the sefer’s uniqueness is its appeal and usefulness to every person – from the seasoned lamdan wanting to fulfill the Friediker Rebbe’s directive to review the day’s Tanya each night before bed, to high school talmidim and talmidos delving more seriously into Chitas, to new mekuravim being introduced to Tanya for the first time. In-text translations and a comprehensive Tanya glossary at the beginning of the book give readers the tools to grasp and master the lashon of Chassidus, which is one of the goals of author Ani Lipitz.

Tanya Companion was written over the course of four years and was edited by Rabbi Avraham Katz of Lessons in Likutay Torah and Reb Yitzchak Miller. It is available at Judaica World and other Crown Heights bookstores.
The author, Ani Lipitz, is a popular teacher and speaker known for the ability to take abstract concepts in Chassidus and bring them down in ways that are easy to understand, relate to, and apply.
