Years ago, the Rebbe introduced a new, and revolutionary concept in the Yeshiva world, one that has changed the experience of thousands of Bochurim and is an integral part of the Yeshiva system today – the Talmidim Hashluchim.

Talmidim Hashluchim play a crucial role in the lives of today’s Bochur.

From a warm and experience presence in Yeshivos throughout the world, to all the extra curricular and exciting programs that truly enhance the day-to-day life in Yeshiva, Talmidim Hashluchim infuse an incredible Chayus and warmth into the lives of yeshiva bochurim everywhere.

The impact a Talmid Shliach can have on a young Bochur, is unparalleled. A Bochur may feel intimidated by older Hanhala, and a Shliach is someone who may be much more relatable.

Each year, the Vaad Hatmimim holds a “Kinus” for the Talmidim Hashluchim, which serves as a chance for the newly appointed group of Shluchim to receive much needed guidance and advice in their new role, so they can best achieve their shlichus.

Just this month, the Vaad Hatmimim launched talmidimhashluchim.com as a resource center for the Talmidim Hashluchim, with a plethora of useful insights and tools helping them truly maximize their impact and shlichus.

After a similar Kinus in 5750, the Rebbe wrote to the organizers the importance of creating a proper “resource center” to which Talmidim Hashluchim can turn or offer insight of their own. And today, the Vaad Hatmimim, strives to serve that very purpose.

“Talmidim Hashluchim” is just another way the Vaad Hatmimim is there for today’s Bochur.
