In honor of Lag B’omer, students of Cheder Ohr Menachem in Crown Heights built a unique 3-dimensional exhibit depicting the life and times of the Rashbi and Rabbi Akiva.
With the grand Lag B’omer festivities approaching, the Hanala of Cheder Ohr Menachem with extra curricular coordinator Rabbi Chanoch Hecht and Mrs. Orli Dubov have planned a most befitting and engaging project for Talmidim of all grades.
Every class was tasked with building an exhibit displaying a unique part of Rashbi or Rabbi Akiva’s lifetime. On Wednesday, Erev Lag B’omer, it was finally all ready. Each class had their turn to tour the lifetime of Rashbi and essentially the story of Lag B’omer!
Wait!! That is not it…
On Thursday, at 7:00 am, all these precious exhibits were affixed to a flat bed and used as a beautiful float in the parade march toward the NCFJE rally in the Maple St. park.
All Talmidim felt ready for this auspicious day, uplifted with the message of Rashbi – Spreading Pnimiyus Hatorah and teaching the Zohar Hakadosh, paving the way for the Geula Shleima now!
The organizers wish to thank all the melamdim kita alef and up!
