Shluchim and Anash from across Switzerland gathered at the Lucerne Chabad House in the days following Shavuos, for a Kinus Torah featuring local speakers and guests.

The host, shliach Rabbi Chaim Drukman opened the gathering with a lengthy halachic discussion on the laws of welcoming Shabbos early, and to what extent does one community oblige the rest of the city’s Jews.

Rabbi Eli Marilus spoke on the Rebbe’s Sicha regarding the dispute between Rabbi Akiva and Rabbi Yishmael over whether the Jewish people saw the voices at Matan Torah or merely heard them.

Basel Shliach Rabbi Zalman Wishedski then spoke about the two inverted ‘Nun’s’ that separate Parshas Vayehi Binso’ah from the rest of Chumash Bamidbar, and why it is specifically the letter Nun that separates them.

Following the event, Rabbi Drukman thanked the crowd who had come from far and near to fulfill the Rebbe’s directive to hold a Torah gathering in the days completing Shavuos.
