Sweet Surprise Distributed for Shluchim’s Children

On Motzei Shabbos, a sweet surprise awaited each shliach as they entered the Kinus Melave Malka: A delicious candy platter for them to bring home to their children, sponsored in honor of the Yaldei Hashluchim on the front lines.

A sweet surprise awaited shluchim as they entered the Melave Malka of the Kinus Hashluchim in Oholei Torah this past Motzei Shabbos: A pile of thousands of candy platters, one for each shliach to take home for his children.

The platters were gifted to the shluchim by Merkos 302’s MyShliach branch, which creates programs and provides resources for shluchim’s children throughout the year.

Each shliach was presented with a platter by a MyShliach volunteer, together with an accompanying note saluting the children “for their tireless efforts and mesiras nefesh.”

“We want your children to know that we are thinking of them and are proud of their work on the front lines, helping prepare the world for the coming of Moshiach,” the note continued.

The candy platter was sponsored by Menachem and Dini Gurevitch, longtime passionate supporters of MyShliach initiatives dedicated to putting smiles on the faces of Yaldei Hashluchim on the front lines.
