Beginning tomorrow, Sunday, 14 Cheshvan, the daily Ohel bus will increase bus service to two round trips a day, and revamping the daily schedule.
Tens of thousands have utilized the daily bus to the Ohel over the 26 years since Gimmel Tammuz. Even today, in the age of Uber and Lyft, the bus, which leaves from 770 every day, in still full on special days as well as regular weekdays.
The first trip of the day will be a bus from the Ohel to Crown Heights at 9:15 AM, for the benefit of those who fly in to JFK or LGA and go directly to the Ohel.
The full schedule is as follows:
Sunday to Thursday:
9:15 AM – Ohel to Crown Heights
10:30 AM – Crown Heights to Ohel
12:10 PM – Ohel to Crown Heights
1:15 PM – Crown Heights to Ohel
The final trip of the day will be one way only, and will not provide transportation back to Crown Heights.
The Friday schedule will remain the same as until now:
10:30 AM – Crown Heights to Ohel
11:50 AM – Ohel to Crown Heights
The new schedule will begin Sunday, 14 Cheshvan.
Health guidelines still remain in effect while visiting the Ohel. Visitors are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing.
