Sunday: Kinus Torah on the Rebbe’s Haggadah
A special Kinus Torah marking 80 years since the publication of the Rebbe’s Haggadah will take place this Chol Hamoed Pesach in Crown Heights, followed by a farbrengen for Chai Nissan.
A special Kinus Torah marking 80 years since the publication of the Rebbe’s Haggadah will take place this Chol Hamoed Pesach in Crown Heights, followed by a farbrengen for Chai Nissan.
The program will be held on Sunday, the first day of Chol Hamoed Pesach, 18 Nissan, at Kollel Menachem, 1483 Union Street.
The evening will begin with Mincha at 7:00 PM, followed by a series of shiurim exploring different dimensions of the Rebbe’s Haggadah:
Rabbi Sholom Dovber Levine, author of a commentary on the Rebbe’s Haggadah, will discuss the three elements of the Haggadah: the enslavement, Yetzias Mitzrayim, and the future Geulah.
Rabbi Fishel Oster, editor of the new Rebbe’s Haggadah with full commentary, will discuss the topic of reciting a bracha over charoses.
Rabbi Dovid Dubov, shliach in Princeton, NJ, and author of Yalkut Levi Yitzchok, will present a topic from the Torah of Harav Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father.
Maariv will take place at 8:30 PM.
Following the Kinus Torah, a farbrengen will be held in honor of 18 Nissan, the birthday of Harav Levi Yitzchok, the Rebbe’s father, and the day of the Rebbe’s bris.
The evening is being organized by Vaad Hamosifin.
