Fire trucks rushed to the subway station on Eastern Parkway on Monday afternoon after plumes of smoke came out of the street grates, causing a short commotion in front of 770 Eastern Parkway.

Upon arriving at the scene, the firefighters closed the entrance to the station and left the area shortly afterward. Before leaving, one firefighter entered 770 for a few seconds and immediately left.
