In honor of Shabbos Parshas Zachor, two special Sifrei Torah will be read from in 770.

The first will be Moshiach’s Sefer Torah, started by the Frierdiker Rebbe and concluded by the Rebbe on Yud Shevat 5730. The second, used for the kriah of Zachor, will be the small Sefer Torah known as ‘the Rebbe’s Sefer Torah.’

Earlier this week, Sofer Rabbi Menachem Moskowitz came to 770 to check the Torahs, as is customary in Shuls around the world, to have a Sofer check over the Sefer Torah that will be used that week for kriah.

Bochurim crowded around the Sofer, jostling to take advantage of the rare opportunity to see the inside of the special Sifrei Torah and how they were written.
