Thousands of shluchim joined a Friday afternoon panel with famous speakers Rabbis Manis Friedman, Simon Jacobson, Naftali Silberberg, and Mendel Kalmenson.

How do thousands of Rabbis spend a week off from preparing for Shabbos services?

This Friday afternoon proved to be no vacation.

The International Conference of Chabad Emissaries held a special session on Friday, addressing the situation in Israel.

Thousands of Rabbis packed into a cavernous room to take in the wisdom of four renowned thinkers, authors, and master communicators. The panel included Rabbi Manis Friedman, YouTube’s most popular Rabbi; Rabbi Simon Jacobson, author of Towards a Meaningful Life; Rabbi Mendel Kalmenson, bestselling author and Director of Chabad Belgravia; and Rabbi Naftali Silberberg, co-director of curriculum development at the Rohr Jewish Learning Institute.

The panelists discussed perspectives for Rabbis to incorporate into their guidance to their respective communities. Throughout the forum, they spotlighted the Rebbe’s timeless approach to the holy land, underscoring its bearing on recent events—and the debates that followed.

The singular session is just one of the many ways in which the largest rabbinical conference in the world is focusing on the current difficulties in Israel and around the globe.
