Harav Nechemia Alter the son of the Gerrer Rebbe, paid a visit Wednesday night to the Rebbe‘s Ohel in Queens, NY.
On his way out, a group of Bochurim learning at the Ohel gave him the Sefer Otzros Hamoadim containing the Rebbe’s teachings about the Yom Tov of Shavuos.
The bochurim then engaged in a Torah discussion on the themes of Shnas Hakhel and Matan Torah based on the Rebbe’s teachings.
The Gerrer Rebbe Harav Yaakov Aryeh Alter merited to have two yechidus with the Rebbe at 770 Eastern Parkway. Over the centuries, the Rebbes of Gur have developed a strong bond with the Rebbes of Chabad.
