Marking the third yahrtzeit of Reb Gershon Mendel Garelik a”h, shliach of the Rebbe to Italy, a farbrengen was led by his son Rabbi Yossi Garelik, rov of the Anshei Lubavitch shul in Crown Heights.
The yahrtzeit, which is Rosh Chodesh Adar, fell out on Shabbos. In Yerushalayim to visit his father’s kever on Har Hazeisim, Rabbi Garelik farbrenged on Shabbos at the Mayonei Yisroel Chassidus center.
During the Farbrengen, Rabbi Garelik emphasized the importance of studying Chassidus on a regular and consistent basis, especially the study of hemshechim. He also highlighted the value of strengthening one’s connection to the Rebbe, sharing inspiring stories from the life and work of his father a”h.
