The snowstorm taking place in New York could have meant a day off of school. But at Cheder at the Ohel, they used the lessons learned during the pandemic to make learning work.

The snowstorm taking place in New York could have meant a day off of school. But at Cheder at the Ohel, they used the lessons learned during the pandemic to make learning work. The boys spend a most of the day learning and davening online with their class.

“In the past, snow meant that the teachers and students weren’t able to meet,” said principal Rabbi Shmuel Gniwisch. “But Ki Hem Chayenu! One thing we learned from the pandemic is that we can always stay connected.”
