Shluchim Whose Daughter is in ICU Thank Supporters

Shluchim Shmuly and Chaya Haskelevich, whose 2-year-old daughter is in the ICU facing a major medical challenge are thanking the worldwide Chabad community for opening their hearts in their time of need.

Wow, just wow!

After hearing about the plight of fellow Campus Shluchim in the past few weeks and wanting to help them in any way possible, we came up with the idea of a fundraiser to allow their Chabad House to continue in a way that they would be able to concentrate on their daughter’s health and family needs. We had no idea how it would go and how people would respond. And respond they did! Over 100 fellow Campus Shluchim & Shluchos and other close friends mobilized to ensure the campaign would be successful, with many creating personal team pages to bring in funds.

Seeing so many people that care and so many donations come in has been very uplifting. They came from friends, fellow Shluchim, and so many complete strangers alike! Seeing the Achdus of Klal Yisroel and how each and every one of you care has been a true source of inspiration!

This is a true testament of איש את רעהו יעזרו ולאחיו יאמר חזק which will lead as the Rebbe quoted from the Tzemach Tzedek די אחדות פון חסידים וועט זיי דורכפירן ביז משיח’ן. May Hashem pay you back manifold. We will be forever grateful to each and every one of you for showing that you care.

As the Shluchim shared:

“It’s a quiet moment now; Shaina Henya Tziporah is napping after a very busy day of many visits from doctors, therapists, and nurses. If someone were to walk into this ICU room now, they would think we are sitting here alone with Shaina Henya Tziporah. But to us, after seeing what happened with this fundraiser, this small room is crowded and filled with over 1,740 people, and you are one of them. We feel hugged by each one of you, and we feel loved.

Thank you for being here with us.

Many of you have never met us, but we are one People with one heart, and today we feel that more than ever.

From the bottom of our hearts, we thank you for your support.

May Hashem bless you with the best of health with an abundance of sustenance and with all your heart’s desires. Any may you merit to continue to do many mitzvos.

Chaya and Shmuly Haskelevich

P.S. We will keep it a secret that you were here; it’s currently against the covid regulations.”

Please continue your tefillos for Sheina Henya Tziporah bas Chaya Yocheved. In the merit of your generosity and the achdus of klal yisroel, may she have a complete and speedy recovery bchol eivoreha vegideha and may we merit the ultimate simcha of the coming of Moshiach now.

Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
