The shluchim circled the hospital, visiting the soldiers and civilians wounded in the Simchas Torah terror attack and the days since. During the visit, a red alert siren went off forcing them to race to the bomb shelter for cover. Several who couldn’t make it into the shelter on time crouching on the ground as the siren was blazing.
The group of 28 shluchim from the United States landed in Eretz Yisroel on Monday morning on a special mission to uplift, comfort and console the soldiers, the injured, and the bereaved families.
