Series of Events Marks Chai Elul in Houston, Texas

Farbrengens for men and for women and a taharas hamishpacha review were all part of a series of events held in Houston Texas to mark Chai Elul.

The Chabad community of Houston, Texas, marked Chai Elul, birthday of the Baal Shem Tov and Alter Rebbe, with a series of events.

On Sunday night, a grand farbrengen was held for men, headed by local shluchim, including Head Shliach Rabbi Shimkeh Lazaroff. Guest speaker was Rabbi Moshe Kesselman of Los Angeles, CA.

The women of the community gathered for a ‘brunch and learn’ on Monday morning, and a taharas hamishpacha review is planned for Monday evening as well.
