Send Shmurah Matzah Free to Jewish Contacts Across America
As Pesach approaches, a new Mivtza Matzah initiative is making it easier than ever for Jews across the United States to receive authentic hand-baked Shmurah Matzah for the Seder.
As Pesach approaches, a new initiative is making it easier than ever for Jews across the United States to receive authentic hand-baked Shmurah Matzah for the Seder.
Through a special Mivtza Matzah campaign organized by Igud Anash, round Shmurah Matzah will now be shipped anywhere in America — completely free of charge. Both the matzah and the shipping are generously sponsored, allowing anyone to request a box for themselves or send one to a friend, family member, or Jewish contact anywhere in the country.
The goal of the initiative is to ensure that every Jew has the opportunity to fulfill the mitzvah of eating matzah on Pesach. With just one click, participants can arrange for hand-baked Shmurah Matzah to be delivered directly to a home before Yom Tov.
Orders must be placed by March 28 while supplies last. Each household may receive one order, and senders can arrange up to five shipments. Organizers note that no one will be turned away due to lack of funds, though a suggested donation of $36 per box helps cover additional shipments and expand the campaign’s reach.
By making it easy to send matzah anywhere in the country, the campaign encourages people to share the mitzvah with Jewish friends, relatives, and acquaintances who may otherwise go without.
