The East Flatbush community held their first-ever Simchas Beis Hashoeva celebration on the first day of Chol Hamoed Sukkos.
Participants were treated to live music, joyous dancing, as well as a magic show for children. Also joining the celebration was State Senator Zellnor Myrie, who represents Crown Heights in the New York State Senate.
The Simchas Beis Hashoeiva, the first of its kind for the East Flatbush community, comes as the community experiences explosive growth, with many families moving into the area, once considered too far out to live, now boasts tens of Yiddishe families, shuls, and a full-fledged community.
