In honor of the Rebbe’s birthday on Yud Aleph Nissan, a new initiative brings one of the Rebbe’s deepest themes to life: not only learning Torah, but applying it—ha’maaseh hu ha’ikkar.
Shlomo M. Hamburger, a retired attorney and educator, has developed the Hidden Harmony Seder Toolkit as a birthday matanah to the Rebbe—drawing on the teachings of the Rebbe’s father, Harav Levi Yitzchak Schneerson, zt”l.
In a well-known letter dated Motzei Tisha B’Av 5744, the Rebbe wrote: “It is my obligation and great zechus to suggest, request, etc., that everyone study from [my father’s] teachings…”
“This project gives people the opportunity not only to learn those teachings, but to use them,” says Hamburger. “To actually bring Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s voice into the Seder night and live with it.”
Rabbi Chaim Dalfin, noted Chabad historian, scholar, and author commented, “Shlomo Hamburger’s explanation of Reb Levik’s Erev Pesach letters to the Rebbe as reflected in the Pesach toolkit is brilliant. He has unlocked the code.”
Included in the toolkit:
• A comprehensive Leader’s Guide mapping the structure of the Seder to Rabbi Levi Yitzchak’s spiritual framework
• A Participant Guide to help guests stay in sync (Abridged Version)
• A reflective essay titled “Hide. Seek. Return. Repeat.”
• Printable discussion cards and prompts for each step of the Seder
These resources are meant to bring depth and kavana to the Seder, with structure and meaning that connect to Chassidic thought in a tangible way.

Where is the actual letter from The Rebbe’s father?
The primary letters used were the 1928 Erev Pesach letter and a 1934 letter. You can find them (and others) with my translations and explanations at https://www.theanochiproject.com/chaf-av-journal/. They are also in vol 3 of Likutei Levi Yitzchak at page 197-198 and at 302-304.
