A grand farbrengen and melava malka was held Motzei Shabbos at Congregation Levi Yitzchok in Los Angeles marking Yud Shevat, the yahrzeit of the Frierdiker Rebbe and the day the Rebbe assumed leadership of Lubavitch.
The Shabbos afternoon farbrengen was led by Rabbi Yisroel Noach Raichik, rov of Congregation Levi Yitzchok. Rabbi Dovid Shmuckler and Rabbi Mendel Greenbaum spoke as well.
On Motzei Shabbos, shliach to USC Rabbi Dov Wagner led the celebratory farbrengen. The central theme of the farbrengen was about the Rebbe’s care for each individual chossid. Rabbi Wagner also shared several stories from his shlichus on campus illustrating that message.
