As part of the Dayanus program of the acclaimed Online Smicha program, led by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm, the program hosted 2 special guest shiurim this past week with Rabbonim, discussing practical issues with an in-depth perspective.
In conjunction with finishing Hilchos Arev as part of their Dayanus program of Machon Lehoraa Online Smicha, the program hosted this past week two guest Shiur with Rabbi Yehuda Leib Schapiro of Miami, and Rabbi Belinow of Bnei Brak.
The Shiur by Rabbi Leibel Schapiro, Rosh Yeshiva of the Lubavitch Yeshiva of Miami, and Rov of the Anash community of Florida, dealt with the sources and reasons for the idea of having a guarantor involved in a transaction. The Shiur offered an in depth look into the different types of guarantors, and the effect they have on the transaction.
The other Shiur, given by Rabbi Yosef Yitzchok Bellinow, Rosh Yeshiva of the Lubavitch Yeshiva in Kfar Chabad, and Rov in the city of Bnei Brak was on the importance of using an ערב קבלן in the Chametz sale, and the Halachic benefits of such over a regular Arev, discussing the opinion of the Alter Rebbe and other opinions.
