The acclaimed Dayanus Program of Machon Lehoraa Online Smicha hosted shiurim in the last weeks with Rabbi Yechiel Kalmenson, rosh yeshiva of Brunoy, and Rabbi Yosef Kalmenson, rosh yeshiva of New Haven.
The Dayanus program of the Machon Lehoraa Online Smicha, led by Rabbi Nachman Wilhelm for almost 15 years, had the privilege of having 2 special Shiurim as they were reviewing the laws of Edus.
The Shiurim offered an in depth background and discussion to some of the more complex concepts in these Halachos, including a discussion on the need for the testimony to be said in front of a Bais Din and the reasons we value so much the admission of the defendant.
One of the special Shiurim can be watched here:
The feedback from the participants of the program has been very positive. “I was searching for a platform to learn Dayanus. I decided I’d give Machon Lehoraa Online Smicha a try.” Says Rabbi Mendel Schneerson of Crown Heights” What influenced me was Rabbi Wilhelm’s ability to encapsulate difficult issues within a short period of time. Harav Wilhelm has a knack of giving a complete overview of the material in a clear and concise fashion and the tools grasp the intricate language and nuances. His clear and succinct methods make it easy to memorize the Shulchan Aruch intermingled with actual halachic issues you hear about day to day.”
Rabbi Yisroel Geisinsky, Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva Torah Ohr Miami, shares similar points: “This program is highly recommended just for Rabbi Wilhelm’s passion and genuine (contagious!) Geshmak in Torah, which “bubbles” out naturally whenever he shares anything, whether it’s a delicate complicated Svara, or an amusing insightful anecdote, It’s always an inspiration and a pleasure.”
