Hundreds of Anash and bochurim gathered in 770 on Motzei Shabbos for a melava malka and farbrengen celebrating the Alter Rebbe’s release from Czarist prison, beginning a new era in spreading the wellsprings of Chassidus.

The farbrengen began with a siyum on Shas and Tanya conducted by the Harav Avrohom Osdoba of the Crown Heights Beis Din. Followed by Rabbi Michoel Golomb who taught a ma’amar of the Rebbe.

The farbrengen was then addressed by Rabbi Mendel Blau, Rabbi Shlomo Majeski, Rabbi Itche Misholovin, Rabbi Baruch Boaz Yurkowitz, Rabbi Avraham Baruch Pevzner and Rabbi Yosef Kaminetzky. The MC was Rabbi Mendel Yusewitz.

Following the official program, a crown dispersed into smaller farbrengen, continuing throughout the night.
