Rosh Hashana at Marina Roscha Shul in central Moscow was marked with uplifting prayers, capsule minyanim, outdoor shofar blowing by Chief Rabbi Berel Lazar.

Thousands of Jews gathered for davening at the main shuls and the many smaller minyanim held at the Chesed Center and other organizations, carefully guarding all the rules of social distance and mask wearing, which were distributed to everyone.

On the afternoon of the second day of Yom Tov, hundreds of local Jews gathered at the large plaza between the Chesed Center and the Jewish Museum for a prearranged shofar blowing for Jews who were unable to attend Shul.

In a nearby courtyard, a special pool was set up with live fish to allow those who wished to say Tashlich to do so in the best possible manner.

On the evening of the second day of Rosh Hashanah, a large farbrengen was held as is customary. Participants returned home afterward uplifted and inspired from the words of inspiration and the niggunim.
