Remote Classmates Meet in Real Life at Annual Reunion
After months of learning together online, boys from the Nigri Shluchim Online School finally met face to face at their annual Day of Celebration in Crown Heights. The long-awaited reunion was filled with friendship, inspiration, and joy as students, fathers, and teachers joined for a lively program.
Classmates and staff of the Nigri Shluchim Online School joined together in Crown Heights for their annual reunion and Day of Celebration.
Every year, the boys eagerly await the annual Day of Celebration, where they get to meet and spend a day with their classmates and teachers. The event has become a highlight for the students, a program celebrating their friendships, learning, and school.
“The powerful sense of Achdus and inspiration could be felt throughout the entire event,” said Rabbi Yehoshua Steinberg, Principal of the Boys Division. “It was beautiful to see the Talmidim leave the program motivated and uplifted for an incredible year of learning in their places of Shlichus.”
The event kicked off with the boys finally meeting each other, getting their custom sweatshirts, Davening and participating in their very own interactive game show.
During the game show, the fathers had their own Chinuch Farbrengen with Rabbi Zalman Leib Markowitz.
Afterwards they all joined together for the main event, which included a special presentation by the PTA thanking the teachers and staff, watching an inspiring Rebbe video on Chinuch and hearing a Dvar Torah by student Mendel Glitsenstein.
The program continued with an exciting roll call with lively dancing, finishing with the highly anticipated raffle for the Mivtza Lulav campaign.
A special thank you is extended to principal Rabbi Yehoshua Steinberg and team including Rabbi Mayer Kosofsky, Rabbi Shneur Deren, Mrs. Altie Kaminetzky, Mrs. Sorale Teitelbaum, Yisroel Taub, Yossi Goodman and Mendel Benjaminson.
