On the shores of Lake Balaton in Hungary, with scenic views, hundreds of Jewish refugees from Ukraine are celebrating Pesach in luxurious style.
Taking in the scenic views, the refugees will enjoy a beautiful Yom Tov kept strictly in accordance with halacha. The heartwarming initiative has been spearheaded by the Federation of Jewish Communities of Ukraine (FJCU).
This will be the fifth Pesach held at the camp since the beginning of the war, made possible courtesy of EMIH – the Hungarian Jewish Alliance.
Chairman of the FJCU, Chabad shliach Rabbi Meir Stambler, will be in residence with his family and will be leading the public Seder, which is expected to be one of the largest in Europe.
