In honor of the semicha celebration at the Central Tomchei Tmimim that took place on Sunday, a compilation of the Rebbe’s sichos, letters, and answers on the importance of learning semicha and dayanus was published.
The compilation is the first of its kind, gathering material from multiple different sources, as well as new material from first person accounts. All original Yiddish sources have been translated to Hebrew, and it’s structured according to the timeline of events.
The kuntres also includes an article by chief librarian of the Central Chabad Library Rabbi Berel Levin on the legitimacy and potency of semicha in its current form nowadays.
