Rebbe’s Teachings Reach 400K Towards 30th Gimmel Tammuz

In the weeks leading up to Gimmel Tammuz, a series of daily inspirational videos sharing the Rebbe’s messages were published for teens. The series harnessed the power of social media for positivity reaching record numbers of viewers.

CTeen’s series, “30 Ways in 30 Days,” has spread the Rebbe’s timeless messages of positivity and empowerment to a vast audience. The series had a massive impact, reaching an incredible 416,847 accounts, far surpassing expectations. Promoting The Rebbe’s innovative approach to life’s challenges and positive outlook on the world to CTeen’s network of Jewish teens and beyond, the series brought a modern twist to preparing for Gimmel Tammuz.

A 30-second reel was posted daily for 30 days, to CTeen’s twenty-one thousand followers, and organically amplified by the platform’s engagement algorithm. Taking insights from the Rebbe’s expansive speeches, letters, and personal interactions with people, each day was infused with inspiration in the form of an uplifting mini-film.

In bite-sized, professionally edited format, the upbeat reels provided a meaningful respite from the endless scrolling so many get drawn into on social media. “Harnessing modern technology for meaningful education a fundamental element of the Rebbe’s teachings,” said Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky, executive director of Merkos 302, “Now more than ever, despite the platforms and mediums having changed, The Rebbe’s words still are relevant and resonate with the challenges of today.”

Each reel, professionally edited in-house by CTeen’s team at Merkos 302, featured a 30-second timer in the corner to draw viewers in.  Engaging questions like, “Does Hashem care about me?” flashed across the screen followed by the empowering message “He believes in you, cares for you, and sent you to this world for a specific mission. #youmatter.”

The series was dedicated L’ilui Nishmas Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky OBM, vice-chairman of Merkos L’Inyonei Chinuch and Chairman of CTeen International, who passed away shortly before the program began.
