Friends and family gathered Monday night at Rayim Ahuvim Shul in Crown Heights to mark the Shloshim of Rabbi Yaakov Tzvi Holtzman a”h.

Addressing the gathering was Rabbi Yosef Braun of the Crown Heights Beis Din, and Sofer Rabbi Moshe Klein. Rabbi Yosef Yitzchak Holtzman, shliach to SUNY Downstate, conducted a siyum on Mishnayos.

Rabbi Holtzman merited to service the Rebbe and Rebbetzin by helping out in their home, and was later sent on shlichus to Antwerp, where he lived until recently moving to Crown Heights.

Rabbi Holtzman passed away last month after being involved in a tragic car accident.
