Otzar Hamelech, the long-awaited, monumental work by Rabbi Yossi Lipskier, collecting thousands of the Rebbe’s explanations on Rambam, will be given out at the main Siyum Harambam in front of 770.
For the last 18 months, Rabbi Yossi Lipskier from Sherman Oaks, CA has been painstakingly collecting every piece of commentary from the Rebbe on the Rambam’s Mishneh Torah.
During the 40th cycle of Limmud Harambam, Rabbi Lipskier published the Marei Mekomos on a daily basis, and in honor of the Siyum on Gimmel Tammuz last year, a preview edition was printed on the first two Sefarim, Mada and Ahavah.
Since then, thanks to feedback from Rabbonim, Shluchim and Bochurim around the world, hundreds of additional biurim have been discovered and added to the compilation, and all the existing material was edited and perfected.
The final product is a beauty to behold: 1200 pages of Torah from our Rebbe on Rambam. Truly an Otzar Hamelech.
While the hardcover Sefer will be available in stores later this year, a paperback edition of Chelek Alef (Mada-Zeraim) will be given out as a Teshura at the Siyum Harambam tonight, so that all who wish can begin the new cycle of Rambam with the Rebbe.
Finally, it’s here! The sefer we’ve all been waiting for! Very exciting news.
