The recently founded virtual Kollel for shluchim and aspiring rabbonim will be welcoming Harav Yekusiel Farkash of Yerushalayim as a magid shiur for the new semester.

The goal of Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad is to offer tools for in-depth limud halacha to Rabbonim and aspiring Rabbonim. In addition to the two weekly shiurim by the Roshei Kollel the Kollel also brings in senior Rabbonim to offer practical shimush.

The Kollel is honored to add HaRav Yekusiel Farkash, one of the leading Poskim in Chabad to offer his services to train the next generation of Rabbonei Chabad. HaRav Farkash has written one of the most authoritative seforim on Hilchos Nida and the Chaveri HaKollel are very excited to be mekabel directly from such a distinguished Posek as they begin Hilchos Nida.

The last day to register for the new zman is TOMORROW.

Rabbi Betzalel Bassman, the Menahel of the Kollel, told Anash.org that he is very excited to be launching an Ivrit branch of the Kollel after Shavuos. See more information about the Ivrit branch here and for special discounts for the first 30 registrants.

The New Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad began its inaugural session with over 80 Rabbanim participants from around the world. The 10 year virtual Kollel is a joint project between Merkos 302’s Beis Medrash L’Shluchim and Kollel L’Rabbonei Chabad. It aims to empower current and aspiring Rabbanim with an advanced understanding of Halacha and Hora’ah.

The Kollel members are currently completing the Halachos of Tevilas Keilim and Hagala and will embark on a two year in-depth study of Hilchos Niddah after Shavuos. The program will incorporate a unique shimush program allowing the Shluchim to become experts in Hilchos Niddah by learning the yesodos in Crown Heights over a few days. The shimush would then continue over a two-year period through an innovative mailing system developed by the Kollel.

The Rosh Kollel, Rabbi Chaim Hillel Raskin, described how he is very inspired by the dedication of the participants. “Despite the extremely busy schedules of the chavrei hakollel, they are carving out 8-10 hours per week, strongly focusing on in-depth learning and practical shimush.”
