Family friends and students gathered Thursday night in Oholei Torah Ballroom to mark the Shloshim of Rabbi Zushe Wilhelm, the longtime principal of Oholei Torah Mesivta and director of Lemaan Yilmedu semicha program.
The gathering was addressed by Rabbi Yosef Braun, Rabbi Moshe Kotlarsky, Rabbi Nachman Yosef Twersky, Rabbi Simon Jacobson, Rabbi Chaim Yisroel Wilhelm, Rabbi Levi Wilhelm, Rabbi Yankel Raskin, R’ Berel Wilhelm, and R’ Berel Junik.
Speakers recalled Rabbi Wilhelm’s love and passion for learning and disseminating Torah. His decades of leadership and dedication to the students of Oholei Torah, and being a living example of a love for Torah and Chassidus.
A special memento, containing divrei Torah as well as memories of Rabbi Wilhelm, was distributed to all participants. Click here to download the Sefer.
The event was followed by a farbrengen with Rabbi Shlomo Zarchi, mashpia in Tomchei Temimim 770.
