Rabbi Mordechai Shaul Benjaminson, a mechanech and sofer from Eretz Yisroel, passed away in Eretz Yisroel on Tuesday, 25 Cheshvan.

He was 74 years old.

R’ Mordechai Shaul grew up in Montreal, where he attended Tomchei Temimim and received his semicha from Harav Pinchus Hirshprung. Rabbi Benjaminson was a devoted teacher, an expert sofer, and a man of many talents, respected and loved by all who knew him.

He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Esther Benjaminson, and his children: Chana Miriam Perel, Tova Bracha Feiler, Avrohom, and Moshe, as well as many grandchildren.

He is also survived by his brothers, Rabbis Yehuda Leib Benjaminson, Yerachmiel Benjaminson, and Sholom Ber Benjaminson.

The brothers are sitting shiva at 660 Lefferts Avenue, Crown Heights, until Monday morning. No minyanim are necessary.
