While on a trip to Eretz Yisroel, Rabbi Mendy Kotlarsky of Merkos 302 was warmly welcomed at the President’s residence in Yerushalayim by Israel’s President Isaac Herzog.

Rabbi Kotlarsky received a tour of the President’s residence, where he saw the historic building and many of its features. Among them, he visited the President’s personal shul, where a picture of the Rebbe is proudly displayed on a pushka, presumably left on one of the many visits of Chabad activists to the residence. He also put on tefillin with one of the resident’s staff members.

Rabbi Kotlarsky then met with President Herzog, and the two discussed the work Chabad does in Eretz Yisroel and around the globe, and future strategic partnerships with Shluchim around the world.
