Rabbi Menachem Mendel Landa, a young father of four small children and a shliach in Toronto, passed away after a terrible illness.

Rabbi Menachem Mendel Landa, a young father of four small children and a shliach in Toronto, Ontario, passed away on Tuesday, 16 Adar II, 5784.

He was 32 and had been battling a terrible illness for the last year and a half.

He was the son of Rabbi Yisroel and Rochel Landa, shluchim for Hebrew speakers in Toronto, and had been working alongside them.

He was the grandson of Harav Moshe Landa AH, the late Rov of Bnei Brak, and the mashpia Reb Pinye Korf AH. His father-in-law is Rabbi Yitzchok Klyne, mashpia in Manchester.

He is survived by his wife, Libby, and four young children.

The Levaya will take place today, Tuesday, passing by 770 at 1 PM, heading to Montefiore Cemetery for burial at 2 PM.

Rabbi and Mrs. Yisroel Landa and family will be sitting shiva in Pomona until Thursday night, and will afterward continue in Toronto. Mrs. Libby Landa will continue in Pomona until Monday morning.
