R’ Yaakov Zaluf, a member of the Chabad community in Netanya, passed away on Sunday after complications due to coronavirus.

R’ Yaakov Zaluf, a member of the Chabad community in Netanya, passed away on Sunday, 27 Tishrei, 5782.

He was 48 years old and passed away from complications due to coronavirus.

R’ Yaakov was known for his yiras shamayim and hiskashrus to the Rebbe. He would devote much time and energy to the Rebbe’s mivtzoim.

An energetic activist, he greatly assisted the Chabad House in northern Netanya where he lived.

He became close to Chabad when he lived in Rishon Lezion and was one of the first Baalei Teshuvah of the local Chabad house.

He is survived by his wife, and 4 young children.
